As of 5th
January 2016, an “online visa application system” will come into effect for foreigners who will travel to Turkey for various purposes.

Starting from 5^th January 2016, persons who are required to have visa and who are not eligible for e-visa, must apply primarily via the “online visa application system”. The applicant will visit the embassy when an appointment is scheduled, after the online application is submitted.

Furthermore, all foreigners applying for a visa will be required to have a valid health insurance.

www.konsolosluk.gov.tr for visa applications starting from 05.01.2016.

Requirements for a “Married to a Turkish citizen Visa” for a stay exceeding 30 days

1.Applicant’s original passport & a copy of passport (valid at least 3 months after your return)
2.Completely filled application form
3.One photograph (2 inches)
4.Employment letter in English
5.Financial guarantee documents (Personal Bank Statement (original) or copy passbook and show original passbook for the latest 3 consecutive months)
6.Flight reservation
7.Accommodation booking/ in case staying with a Turkish host, an original Notary paper is required
8.Consent Letter from guardian (in case the applicant is below 18 years old) If the person applies from a country other than his/her homeland, he/she need to submit his/hervalid residence permit or any document that proves he/she legally stays in that country
9.The original & a copy of certificate of marriage.
