A delegation from the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), Turkey – Thailand Business Council will be visiting Thailand on 1-2 September 2016.

DEİK is responsible for leading foreign economic relations of Turkish private sector. Currently there are more than 130 Business Councils in DEİK. One of these councils is the Turkey - Thailand Business Council.

The said DEİK delegation, composed of Asia Pacific Business Councils Regional Coordinator, Turkey - Thailand Business Council Chairman and Deputy Chairpersons, will have meetings with the relevant Thai authorities, including Ministry of Commerce, Thai Chamber of Commerce, Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce of Thailand and The Federation of Thai Industries.

The purpose of the said delegation’s visit is to inform the Thai authorities about the current conduct of business affairs in Turkey.

DEİK officials will also be hosting a press conference on 2 September at 16.00 hours at the Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World. Members of the press and Thai business people are welcome to the press conference.
